JOIN THE OPELIKA EXCHANGE CLUB
Make Friends. Build Connections. Make a Difference!
Serve Through Our Four Pillars
As part of the National Exchange Club, we support four important areas of service:
-
Americanism — Promoting patriotism and appreciation for our country.
-
Community Service — Improving the quality of life in our community.
-
Youth Programs — Recognizing, encouraging, and supporting young people.
-
Prevention of Child Abuse — Supporting efforts to protect children and strengthen families.
New Ideas. New Energy. New Opportunities.
The Opelika Exchange Club offers more than membership in a civic organization. It offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in our community, develop friendships, build leadership skills, and help shape the future of our club and its programs.
We are looking for individuals with fresh ideas, enthusiasm, talents, and a desire to get involved. Whether you are a young professional, business owner, retiree, or someone simply looking for an opportunity to give back, there is a place for you in the Opelika Exchange Club.
Opportunities to Make a Difference
Help Shape the Future of a 21-Acre Community Facility
Participate in planning, improving, promoting, and supporting activities at the Lee County Fairgrounds, a 21-acre facility owned and managed by the Lee County Fair Association. Help identify new uses for the property and attract events that benefit our community.
Revitalize and Expand Club Programs
Bring new ideas and energy to existing programs while helping develop new initiatives that address the changing needs and interests of our community.
Bring More Community Activities to Opelika
Help attract festivals, exhibitions, agricultural events, educational activities, nonprofit fundraisers, and other community gatherings. Explore partnerships that allow local organizations to use the fairgrounds for activities that support their missions and programs.
Help Make the Annual Lee County Fair a Success
Become involved in one of our community's longstanding traditions. Assist with planning, promotion, sponsorships, volunteer coordination, and the many activities that make the Lee County Fair possible.
Put Your Talents and Experience to Work
We welcome members with interests and experience in technology, website development, social media, marketing, photography, event planning, fundraising, business management, and community outreach. No special experience is required—just a willingness to participate.
